Waaree Energies Reports Strong Q2 Results Amid Stock Volatility
Waaree Energies' share price exhibited volatility despite posting a robust performance in the second quarter of FY26. The company's standalone net profit surged over two-fold to ₹1,159.53 crore, up from ₹357.46 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations climbed 44.5% to ₹4,581.84 crore, driven by a favorable revenue mix and operational efficiency.
The board approved an interim dividend of ₹2 per equity share, with a record date set for October 24, 2025, and payment scheduled for November 6, 2025. CEO Amit Paithankar highlighted an 800-basis-point expansion in EBITDA margins and a strong order book, signaling continued momentum into the latter half of the year.
Waaree is aggressively expanding its operational capacity, adding 3 GW in India to reach 16.1 GW and acquiring Meyer Berger assets to bolster its US presence to 2.6 GW. Paithankar emphasized robust demand in the US market, underscoring the company's strategic growth trajectory.
